I rated this book 5 stars because he covers quite a bit of information very efficiently. The pace was engaging, and I had to make myself put the book down. His writing is powerfully driven by Holy Spirit and I advise any Christian who can identify with my previous statements to read this book.

Another amazing revelatory book by Andrew Murray. I read his book called Humility and found myself so convicted of truth about how much pride I was walking in. Yet it actually was very freeing of selfish ways and helped me to change. This book is the same. It is hard to admit we don't want to surrender everything but this book helps us to see how freeing it is and also that God does the work in us. We simply say "I surrender" and fully trust. it is not a thick book and easy to read with scripture to support his words. I highly recommend this book.
This is another great classic by Andrew Murray where he discusses the necessity of absolute surrender to God. I found very few errors in writing mechanics. He often uses plural possessive pronouns with a singular noun, as in “our life” instead of “our lives.” Pronouns for God, especially reflexive ones, aren’t always capitalized, and he doesn’t cite sources of quotes often. I also found too much repetition, but perhaps this will cause me to remember the important parts better. Overall, I found the book fertilized my faith.
This book was such a blessing to me. I had a difficult time in the beginning. In fact I had to re-read the first chapter several times. Once I got through the beginning I was determined to get through THE ENTIRE. It seem like the enemy of my soul did not want me to get the blessing I needed. Praise God, I gained so much information. I keep this book on my night stand so that I can re-read passages. I am blessed over and over. I don't think I will ever be the same since I have been so blessed through this book. I have purchased this book for several people and this week end I am giving my copy to a new convert and I will purchase another for myself. Through this book I realize the answer to our spiritual need today is we need to ABSOLUTELY SURRENDER to the Lord, so that we can be used of the Lord as he desires. The church is not where she should be because she needs to "Absolute Surrender". Praise God. THIS IS A MUST READ BOOK.
This is a great book. I was reading some more of it just yesterday. Encouraging for those who have thought that the demands of holiness God makes on us are out of our reach. With men they are, but with God all things are possible. Read this book if you struggle with not being able to live a righteous life.
This is truly a spiritual awakening. I am constantly trying to strengthen my walk with God, and this sure does that. For me, it was so informative and intense, that I could only read a section every couple of nights. I had to focus on the plethora of information from one section and how it pertained to my life before I could move on to more. I am on my 3rd time reading this and still getting great information from it.
This book is the kind of book that is very short but take considerable time for readers to thoroughly digest; not because of the difficulty of reading, but how truly life altering the message is. The message , at first, is counter intuitive; totally give up one's will and submit to a higher authority, but as the book progresses, readers will see the that we are giving up something faulty that was never really ours, and receiving power, provisions, and protection from an Almighty, ever loving God in its place. If I had one wish, it would be to have read this book ten years ago. But, I am truly thankful for having read it now!
Another great book by Andrew Murray. I love this one. I think the most common mistake that Christians make in their life is relying on their plan, thought and strength to live their life. Andrew says that it is a cruel thoughts because it shows that we have not trusted God. We all agree it is not easy. Through this book, Andrew reminds us that God will work it for us. It is God that works in us both to will and to do it.
